Homeopathy has proved effective in almost all kinds of injuries, ranging from simple falls to compound fractures involving significant wounds. Homeopathic remedies, when selected on the basis of site of injury, type of injuries and primary objective for the treatment, can work wonderfully to offer complete recovery in the shortest possible time, without significant remnants.
To give a few examples :
Arnica helps with injuries that are blunt, not involving cuts or wonds. Concussions or contusions heal most rapidly with this wonderful remedy. It has also helped many patients in a hemo-absorbant manner, especially in case of intracranial hemorrhages.
If the injuries involve fibrous tissues like tendons, ligaments and muscles, the selection of remedies will be from a completely different group that involves Rhus Tox, Ruta, Argent met, Anacardium and Guaiacum.
Symphytum provides a sure shot relief after a bone injury, especially where there is a rupture or trauma to periosteum, a protective sheath that covers the bones.
Joint capsule involvement, paucity of synovial fluid points at remedies like Guaiacum and Bryonia that help to improve the joint mobility by reducing the inflammatory response, as well as by increasing the synovial fluid inside the joint, thus reducing the friction.
Hepar or Silica in low potencies will hasten the suppuration to drain it, while in the initial stage, when given in higher potencies, they can abort the suppurative process.
A good homeopath will always keep these points in mind while selecting the right remedy (and the potency) for the patient.
